Yet Another Blog of Utter Laziness Insues....

What Heidi Means

You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out.

Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.

Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.

You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.

At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.

You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.

You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are balanced, orderly, and organized. You like your ducks in a row.

You are powerful and competent, especially in the workplace.

People can see you as stubborn and headstrong. You definitely have a dominant personality.

What's Your Name's Hidden Meaning?

In knitting news, I've nearly completed my third Jayne Hat. I've taken to knitting quite rampantly these days, and I've great hope that that fact will be the motivation I need to actually finish a complete pair of socks. One day, when I get the chance to start, I vow to finish not one, but two socks!
I also finished a gray stockinette scarf, which rolled, but I'm liking how it looks, despite.
Desperate as I was to just knit, the yarn quality suffered, and I'm afraid that it's pure acrylic. Cringe. I know....
I figure that since I'm supposed to be making this scarf for a friend of my mother, and she didn't specify what exactly she wanted in a scarf, I may just use it as a model of what could be if made with better yarn.
That's all the new news I've got!

You mean that brother and sister of yours didn't get you any good yarn from the LYS?! FOR SHAME! lol

OH well... it's good that you are knitting, at least.

We have some paragraphs in common, too, tightly wound, etc... =) shocker \=|

Well you just discovered the first rule of stockingette stitch - it rolls! LOL! That's why every sweater has a ribbing or pattern band at the bottom and cuffs! Hats can get away without one because a curled rim on a hat can be kinda' cool. Your scarf has 'character', that's all! If you want to tame that character, a fringe on the ends will help it to flatten. The sides may roll a bit but if you slip the first stitch of every row it will lessen. If that's too much work because you just want to knit, don't sweat it. I just know your scarf will rock no matter what! :)
