"A man walks down the street in that hat, people know he's not afraid of anything."

(Little sis sporting it for me)

Or woman!
So, while talking with a friend of mine, who happens to be a major Flan (Firefly Fan), I was commissioned, or begged, to knit him a 'Jayne' hat. This is actually a picture of the second one I completed, and I followed a different pattern than the first. The reason being I'm a wee bit of a perfectionist, and the first pattern yielded a hat big enough for a giant. I may be a loose knitter, but I don't think that's entirely to blame. I was left with enough extra yarn, time, etc to do another, and here it is! I plan to let him choose between the two, which ever he likes best.
Hopefully, one of them will suit him.

A bit of knit Involved!

Sarah

Sarah, wearing my knit hat :)

Look what I knit ^_^

Yes, it doesn't exactly look like it would take much to knit this, I know.
But it signifies more to me, because this is the first real thing I've knitted in ages. (ages: appx. A year or more.)
The yarn is Navajo wool, and I still have two more skienes left to make me feel guilty that I have yet to knit them into something grand. Grey, Dark Blue, and the Light Blue seen above.
I love the colors, but I'm at a loss of what to make?
I've also started knitting a cap, and a pair of hand warmers for little sis; which I really need to finish!
It's funny how much I missed knitting all this time, I'm so glad that I'm back in the swing of things. I think now that it's winter again, I've really felt the urge to knit.
Anyway, here's a couple hat patterns I thought were cool!
